The FreeWinds Midweek Jazz-Concert:
SIMPLY MAGNIFICENT!!

That is the general comment heard last Wednesday night after the jazz concert on the Freewinds.
More than one hundred music lovers enjoyed a wonderful evening of Jazz on board of the beautiful cruise ship Freewinds.

The concert was organized by the Curaçao Jazz Foundation, with the fantastic cooperation of FreeWinds and her Port Captain Ludwig.
Captain Ludwig and CJF-President Jamila Romero at the onset gave everyone present a warm welcome and promised a great evening of music and surprises.
As usual the music of the Freewinds Jazz Band was unrivaled and as for the surprises: we were treated with two "cherries on the cake".

Ms. Tamara Nivillac, very young and very talented local singer and winner of the "Curaçao Talents 2003" song festival
and
Mr. Vernon Chatlein, who is also a young and very talented local congero and percussionist.

These two teenagers gave an impressive performance that dazzled all patrons present, including the members of the band.
We wish our two young artists a lot of success in their future careers.

At the end of the show CJF raffled several nice prizes, donated by our sponsor Heineken and Freewinds.
